Serving in the US Marine Corps, Sgt Reckless was a Horse who heroically worked in the Korean War. Sgt Reckless was headlined in Life Magazine & The Saturday Evening Post for her heroic participation during the war. Later after the war ended, Sgt Reckless was promoted to Staff Sergeant by the Commandant of the US Marine Corps. She served out her final days at Camp Pendleton, CA with the 1st Marine Divison.
